Craig DiTommaso, MD is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Brain Injury Medicine. He cares for patients with traumatic brain injury, stroke, cerebral palsy, and spinal cord injury. His expertise includes baclofen pump management, chemodenervation, neurolysis, joint aspiration, and dry needling, with a focus on disorders of consciousness.
Dr. DiTommaso completed medical training at Tulane University, residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine, and a fellowship in Brain Injury Medicine at the University of Washington. He later served as a neuro-trauma consultant at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and as Medical Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation for Baylor College of Medicine, where he also taught residents and fellows. Dr. DiTommaso now focuses on rehabilitation care, physician development, and research in brain injury and spasticity. He is also an adjunct assistant professor of Neurology at UTMB and Sam Houston State.
