Robert Hendrikson, MD is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has Added Qualification in Hand Surgery. He has over 48 years of experience in his field. He graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He then completed a Fellowship in Hand Surgery at New York University School of Medicine.
After fellowship, he returned to Connecticut and began practice in Waterbury. He has practiced at Waterbury Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital, and Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is an active member of the Connecticut State Orthopedic Society, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, New England Hand Society, and the New York Society for Surgery of the Hand. In the past, he has served as elected Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Waterbury Hospital, and subsequently overall Chief of Surgery at Waterbury Hospital.
