Karla Guishard Fuentes, DPT

Dr. Karla Guishard Fuentes graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She began her career providing home care services, working with patients with various conditions, from post-surgical rehabilitation to the management of neuromuscular and orthopedic disorders.

Karla is currently part of Connecticut Physical Medicine team, where she specializes in evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries. Her approach focuses on creating personalized treatment plans that combine manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, pain relief modalities, and patient education, all aimed at improving functionality and overall quality of life. She is fluent in Spanish and English. Committed to excellence in her profession, Karla continuously seeks opportunities to enhance her skills and provide the best care for her patients.
